I've been having fun with it. But I have to admit, this theme was hard to find just the right images for what I want to do. Finally found them though. Can't wait to see everybody's.
It took me a long time as well. I'm looking for things but it is coming along slowly. Can not wait to see them all.
I agree, it wasn't a quick Google to find images, I had to do a lot of digging to find what I needed... I've learned a lot about goats though! :)
Who do you think I can ask about weather different creatures belong in the same forest? This is art but does it have to make sense 100% of the time. ???
I think you can take some liberties, then again you can do whatever you want.
Yeah, I think you can do what ever you want, but I just googled forest creatures, woodland creatures, etc... It came up with some animals that seemed to make sense for this contest.
I just found that my creatures are part of the same would so I might be OK with them being in the same forest.

John - the beauty of chopping is being able to bring together those elements that are not usually united - and in a fantasy-type competition this is even more so. So just be wildly imaginative and go for it!
Have just abandoned my first attempt at this theme - a cross between a goat and the UK Prime Minister. Wasn't sure if this contest was ready for political satyr...
Crikey. Have just been perusing our players list... [gulp!]... this is one strong line-up. How exciting; some astounding goat-peeps are promised!
While Cameon has been extending her knowledge of goats, I've enjoyed some background research around Satyr symbolism and its Greek and Roman variations (Pan, Dionysus et al.). Also, how Christian culture came to absorb Pagan images of the goat-man and/or romantic 18th Century notions of Pan into it's representation of The Wicked One.
S'pose I better get my chop chopped...
